Class 5

Animation Mentor is just flying by, and I can steadily see the improvement with every class. This class I have Mark Pullyblank. Hes worked on Journey to the Center of the Earth, Night at the Museum, Garfield 1 and 2, Case 39 and just wrapped on Avatar!!. I hope to learn a great deal more from him on facial animation and just continue to push my skills further. With that said here is my shot so far..This is continued from last term and in this class we add the facial animation. I continued to polish the body mechanics from the last post.

Class 4 Continued

Acting Test 2, eventually this will be completed over the course of 4 weeks. This blocking pass will be refined over the course of the 4 weeks with lip and facial animation to be done at the beginning of the next term.

Class 4

This is acting test 1; without any dialogue, consists of two distinct and contrasting “beats” that tell a basic story. This is still a polishing pass and will soon be finished

Prior to the shot above this is what I had done for Class 3; with Steve Cunningham. I never got the chance to really polish these shots, its no excuse but my computer crashed and I lost the Maya work files to these shots....such a bummer. So this is just the work from the 11 week course...

Animation Mentor

Well after spending 4 years at the Art Institute of LA..I felt that I needed a lot more direction in order for me to reach my goal of becoming a Character Animator. AI might of opened the door, but AM is going to take me down the road of success. I just started in March and already feel the difference it has made. I plan to post my work, so keep an eye out.

This is a rough Flash walk cycle for a zombie. It was for a short titled Monster PD.

Well first the concept then it was Pugaized to match the character style, then I cleaned it up and put it into flash....Now its time to make him walk....Ill post it when its done and soon ill post more of what i did on the upcoming short Monster P.D by Miguel Puga.....I better get paid for this son!!!

Short Clip of some 2D animation

This is from a short I worked on earlier this year in RED GIANT. This turned out to be a great thing for me and the group. We presented this in West Virgina along with other A.I's from around the country. That was a great trip made some contacts and met some great people!! I would have posted the whole thing but its to big of a file. BUMMER. Here my shot and its a taste of some 2d magic. Mike Rogers thanks for everything
